In our previous V3 updates we were anticipating V3 beta to be released by end of the October 2011 — We could not deliver V3 beta in October – the reason is some of new features took some more time then what we have anticipated. Currently we are in alpha testing stages of V3 and we are working hard even working on Christmas to make sure we meet our dead lines.

Architecture and Designing User Interface were our top priorities from day one of V3 development – This time we wanted to bring a change in traditional design and architecture, A change just like Gmail brought to traditional email client like outlook. After I started using Gmail trust me I haven’t opened outlook for even single day and I know its not just me.  You bet! you will see the same kind of transition in V3.

Appropriately 2 years back we released Vision Helpdesk V2.0 with “AJAX Techniques” and unique feature like — “Multi-Domain / Satellite Helpdesk”  and that was a huge success.. You bet!  the trend will continue with V3.

Version 2 was our first milestone in this direction. HostingCon Registration – Badge Pickup and Printing

You can pick up your badge/have your badge printed at the registration desk in the Austin Convention Center during the following hours:

• Sunday, July 18: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
• Monday, July 19: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday, July 20: 7:30am – 6:00pm
• Wednesday, July 21: 8:00am – 4:00pm

The registration desk is located in the 4th Level Foyer of the Austin Convention Center, just outside the keynote and luncheon rooms. You will see signs directing you to the registration desk at multiple points throughout the Austin Convention Center.

Upgrading Your Registration

If you want to upgrade your registration you can do so at the registration desk. The registration desk will be staffed during the hours listed above.

Getting Around the Conference

The HostingCon event team will have signage throughout the Austin Convention Center to help get you where you need to be. The conference occurs across two floors. Escalators and elevators are available across each floor. The show guide and signage will point you in the right direction.

How to Upgrade to V2.5.1?

Vision Helpdesk offers Auto upgrades from Admin Panel   Click on >> Software Information >> Available Updates will shows updates available for upgrade.

Note : While upgrading it will ask you ftp path –by default it takes complete path to your manage folder which needs to be changed to — ftp path.

Example : A client having path — /home/username/public_html/support/manage/

This path should be changed to — /public_html/support/manage/

(In above example we assume ftp access is given from public_html folder and its sub folders.)
